As the story of The Original Margarita goes, Dallas socialite Margarita Sames mixed her two favorite spirits—Cointreau and tequila—together with lime juice on a holiday in Acapulco in 1948, giving us a cocktail that has stood the test of time for over 70 years.

From brunch, afternoon, or evening, we’ll be bringing you a timeless Margarita experience, with a few tips to savor.

BRUNCH GET-TOGETHER

Add a little spice to kick things off right with a Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita for brunch. Cointreau’s citrus aromatics balance the cool and refreshing cucumber and the heat of the jalapeño.
